01Overview
Overview
Robovak is an industrial cleaning robot purpose-built for textile production. Autonomous charging and automatic tank emptying let it run unattended for hours. Natural navigation and a traceable UI keep operators in control, while PLC controls, laser scanning and an emergency stop ensure safe operation. With a 400–700 m²/hour cleaning output, it maintains production lines without stopping them.

Highlights
01
Collects fibre waste without stopping the line.
In textile production the fibre and dust that builds up around the machines is collected by dry vacuum while production continues. Robovak cleans 400 to 700 m² per hour; there is no need to stop the line or wait for the end of the shift.
02
Empties its own tank when full.
When the 60-litre tank is full it returns to the station, empties automatically and carries on where it left off. When the battery runs low it recharges itself at the same station, running for hours without intervention.
03
Natural navigation: no tape, no markers.
It maps the plant with laser scanning and draws its own route between the machines; no magnetic tape or markers go on the floor. When the layout changes the map is updated from the interface, and cleaning zones are assigned on the same screen.
04
To industrial safety standards.
PLC controls, a laser scanner and an emergency stop meet the safety expectations of a production floor; it slows and stops when approaching workers and forklifts. The interface shows which zone was cleaned and when.
05
One panel with Birfen Fleet.
Task schedule, cleaning zones and robot status are monitored through Birfen Fleet; several Robovaks work in coordination in the same plant. Cleaning reports are ready at the end of the shift.
