Industry solution

Outdoor Transport

Take building-to-building transport off your staff. BF-50 AMR carries products and samples between production and the lab in outdoor conditions, and every delivery's location and status can be followed live.

01On-site challenges

On-site challenges

The transport and operations problems we meet most often on sites in this industry.

  • Small moves between buildings regularly pull staff away from their work to walk across the site.
  • Rain, wind and cold affect both the goods and the people carrying them.
  • Whether a shipment is still on its way or already delivered is usually found out by phone.
  • Finding someone to do the run on night shifts and weekends gets harder.

02The Birfen solution

The Birfen solution

How we configure the robots and software around your site.

  • BF-50 AMR travels outdoors on autonomous routes, with a chassis built to tolerate changing weather.
  • Obstacle detection and avoidance let it move in a controlled way on routes shared with pedestrians and vehicles.
  • Real-time location tracking and delivery status notifications keep sender and recipient informed throughout.
  • Missions and charging for multiple robots are managed from one console in Birfen Fleet.

05Outcomes

Outcomes

The operational effects we expect from a well-configured deployment.

  1. Building-to-building transport keeps running independent of shifts, including nights and weekends.

  2. You can see where every shipment is and when it was delivered, as it happens.

  3. Staff focus on their own specialist work instead of walking between buildings.

06Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask most often before deciding.

What weather conditions can BF-50 AMR operate in?
BF-50 AMR was designed to run continuously, with a chassis built for outdoor conditions. During the site survey we assess the surfaces, slopes and seasonal conditions along your route together and confirm suitability.
Do we decide which route the robot uses?
We define the delivery points and the route with you during the site survey. The robot then plans its path autonomously along that route and avoids obstacles it meets.
How do we know a delivery has been completed?
BF-50 AMR sends delivery status as live notifications, and its position can be tracked in real time. With several robots, all deliveries are followed from the Birfen Fleet dashboard.

Let's look at your site together.

In a free site survey we review your transport points, routes and existing systems, then recommend the right robot and software setup.
